Benefits Open Enrollment begins on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

Satisfied with your current benefits elections? Not making any changes? Then, no action is required and all existing benefits will roll over to the new plan year effective January 1, 2023.

• If you are enrolled in the Flexible Spending Account Plans (DepCare FSA and Health FSA), you are required to renew your contribution amounts during Open Enrollment to continue participation in the plan.

New This Year

• ALEX Benefits counselor tool has been updated with new features and out of state member information and options to assist in selecting the best benefit plans for you and your family.
• UC has added enhanced coverage for infertility services.
• You may be eligible for a Health Savings Account (HSA) without losing your carryover Health Flexible Spending Account (FSA) balance.
• Accolade replaces Anthem Health Guide to help CORE, UC Care and UC Health Savings Plan members navigate their benefits.
• Open Enrollment deadline: Make your elections by Friday, November 18 at 5:00 p.m.

The UCR 2023 Benefits Open Enrollment website will be available for valuable information about this year’s benefit plans, highlights of important changes, and information employees need to know about benefit costs and options for the coming year.
