University of California, Riverside –

The California Nurses Association filed an unfair labor practice charge with the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) alleging that the Regents of the University of California violated the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA) by prohibiting nurses at hospitals operated by UC San Diego Health (UCSDH) from wearing a sticker distributed by their exclusive representative, California Nurses Association (CNA), as part of a union campaign. PERB ruled that the Regents of the University of California violated HEERA, Government Code Section 3560 et seq, by interfering with the protected rights of employees and the California Nurses Association and ordered the University to post the attached notice and distribute a copy to bargaining unit members.
