As in previous years, UCR plans to observe a Winter Holiday Closure during the 2019-2020 holiday season. The campus is scheduled to close beginning Monday, December 23, 2019 and will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2020. Pursuant to Personnel Policy 2.210: Absence from Work and relevant provisions of our collective bargaining agreements, the campus will observe the holidays according to the 2019-20 Winter Holiday Closure scheduled.
Four University-paid holidays will be observed while the campus is closed. However, four days (December 23, 26, 27 and 30, 2019) are considered curtailment leave days and are not paid holidays.
