The University of California, Riverside has partnered with Landed, a personal finance company aimed at helping UCR employees afford to buy homes, to bring new homeownership options to our employees.
Landed's down payment program is currently waitlisted in your area. Regardless of waitlist status, you can still sign up to learn about other Landed programs to kickstart your homebuying journey and be the first to know when we open co-investment to new customers.
Landed's down payment program invests alongside employees working in education, government and healthcare to help them reach a 20% down payment. Landed's funds, up to $120,000 per home, come in the form of an equity investment, meaning that homebuyers share in a portion of the gain–or loss, if any—of the value of the home once the partnership is ended—typically by sale or refinance.

UC offers employees and retirees a choice of medical plans because maintaining good benefits is important to you and it’s important to UC. Our plans have a broad choice of providers—including UC medical center doctors, hospitals and medical groups—and plan designs to fit your needs. New Octave Behavioral Health for Non-Kaiser Members
Anthem Blue Cross is offering Octave Behavioral Health as a new service provider offering over 150 in-network therapists and mental health providers for all Anthem and Health Net/MHN plan members across California. Octave offers greater flexibility and a wider range of available in-network counselors; eliminating the extra expense involved with seeking services from out-of-network providers due to the growing issue with limited clinical services.

|Active UC employees turning age 65 and their dependents covered by medical insurance through the UC are not required to enroll in Medicare. Please note: This is not a UCR benefit. Landed works with many employers in several states and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by UCR, UC or any UCSF affiliate or UC affiliate.
Any interested employee should independently review and investigate this program to ensure it meets their needs.
Landed’s down-payment support program will provide an option for employees who cannot benefit from UCOP’s Mortgage Origination Program (MOP), which is limited to academic senate appointment faculty and senior management group staff. The two programs will co-exist for the different employee groups.

Employees eligible for full benefits are automatically enrolled in Basic Life at no cost. Employees eligible for mid-level or core benefits are automatically enrolled in Core Life at no cost. Supplemental Life, Dependent Life and Expanded Dependent Life insurance are available for a monthly premium to employees eligible for full or mid-level benefits. Senior Management Life is also offered at no cost to members of the Senior Management Group.
