The University of California is proposing revisions to PPSM-2.210 (Absence from Work), which applies to staff employees in the Professional & Support Staff, Managers & Senior Professionals, and Senior Management Group personnel groups.

This draft of PPSM-2.210 has been updated to increase the pay calculation for Pay for Family Care and Bonding from 70 percent to 100 percent of an employee’s eligible earnings. The increase is planned for implementation on January 1, 2023.

The tracked version of the draft policy is posted on UCnet. Employees covered by this policy who wish to provide comments on the proposed revisions may submit them to hrpolicy@ucr.edu by November 14, 2022.
