To prepare for the replacement and eventual retirement of iRecruit, it is imperative that all recruitments are finalized in the system. Open recruitments in the “Route for Finalization” queue will not carry over to the enhanced HRMS Recruitment Module.

What we need from the Department HR Coordinator

Step 1: Identify Recruitments in the Route for Finalization queue in iRecruit

  • a)    As stated in our local procedures 20 and 21, pre-employment and recruitment records document the activities surrounding the selection processes for employment at the University. Therefore, all successful and unsuccessful recruitments must have all documentation (interview notes, offer letter, salary analysis, reference check, approval to hire) uploaded to the appropriate tab in iRecruit.

Step 2:  Close Recruitment

  • a)    Select “Mark Final Successful” for those recruitments where a successful candidate has been identified and hired.
  • b)    Select “Mark Final Unsuccessful” for those recruitments that resulted in a failed search.

Note: This is not a one-time clean-up effort, and your ongoing action to finalize recruitments is necessary as recruitments are filled.
