Transferable Skills Library
UC Riverside’s Human Resources Employee and Organizational Development (EOD) team developed a Transferable Skills Library (TSL) to provide employees an opportunity to become more effective in their current roles or develop the skills needed for a future role on campus. The TSL features the most popular on-demand courses from LinkedIn Learning using 20 job standard skillsets categorized by UCR’s Core Competency Behavioral Anchors.
As TSL expands you will have access to skill related articles, e-Courses, videos and additional resources at your fingertips by utilizing an electronic device (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) from anywhere in the world.
Please note: While these are the most transferable skills across positions, each job is unique, and a mastery of skills alone may not be enough to transition to a new position. Visit My UC Career to access tools for assessing your preferences, skills and temperament.
UCR Core Competency Anchors: Achieving Results, Building Relationships, Creating the Future
The 20 job standard skillsets are aligned with the core behavioral anchors which apply to all UC employees, regardless of location, level or role within the University. Visit the EOD Course Catalog to learn more about Behavioral Anchors and Core Competencies.
