How to Find a Policy

For your convenience, here are ways to find a policy that you are looking for.

  • A-Z Policy Finder - you can search for a policy by alphabetical order which includes a brief summary of the policy to help guide you in your search.
  • Numerical Policy Finder - you can search for a policy by the policy number which includes a brief summary of the policy to help guide you in your search.
  • Search by Topic - on the left-hand menu bar, you can see that policies are grouped into categories  which also includes a brief summary of the policy to help guide you in your search.

Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM)

These types of policies delineates the employment relationship between staff members and the University of California. These policies describe certain rights, benefits and expectations which encourage professionalism, service and contribution.

UCR Policies and Procedures

In accordance with UCR Campus Policy Number: 350-11, Human Resources (HR) will utilize HR News and ScotMemos to communicate proposed new policies and changes to existing University of California, Office of the President (UCOP) and University of California, Riverside (UCR) policies. Proposed and actual changes will also be posted on the HR website.

Please note: UC Policy documents are linked to the UCOP Policy website therefore changes will be reflected on the UCR HR website when the official documents are uploaded by UCOP.

Union-Represented Employees

UC works hard to build professional relations and negotiate fair agreements with the 15 unions that represent UC employees. Find details of existing bargaining agreement with each bargaining unit and updates on current negotiations.
