Effective 11/02/2020 all new individual job descriptions should be initiated in the new Human Resources Management System (HRMS); for more information, visit the HRMS webpage.

Service Credit Verification

Employment service credits will follow an employee transferring from one UC location to another; please note that this is not an automatic process. Employees are responsible for requesting verification of prior UC, CSU, DOE, and State of California employment service credit to ensure an accurate account of their total employee service credits. Payroll and/or the employee's department are responsible for the verification process.

Please refer to the Employee Service Credit Verification Guidelines, which provides detailed guidance on the verification and transferring of employment service credit.

Human Resources Management System

The Human Resources Management System (HRMS) is a collaboration between Human Resources, Information Technology Solutions (ITS) and our HR system users as part of an ongoing effort to provide the campus with updated HR technology.

HRMS includes these following modules:

Human Resources Data Warehouse

The Human Resources & Academic Personnel Data Warehouse (HRDW) is a data query tool available to the UC Riverside community. HRDW makes the valuable information contained in the UCPath system easily accessible through a powerful web interface.

The departmental System Access Administrator (SAA) establishes access to HRDW using the Enterprise Access Control System (EACS). Users who are authorized to use HRDW can access the application from their R’Space portal under the “Authorized Apps” tab.

Please visit the UCPath Campus Support Center < HRDW for instructions on how to gain access and use the HR & Academic Data Warehouse.

SMG Title & Pay Plan

The UCOP Senior Management Group Title and Pay Plan is a restricted site and requires an ID and password.

Total Compensation Calculator

The value of your UC employment goes beyond the base salary. UC employees enjoy a full range of benefits, services and programs. The Total Compensation Calculator calculates the approximate value of your total UC compensation, with medical and dental plans included.

Series Concepts and Specifications/Job Standards

The Office of the President establishes the UC Series Concepts and Specifications for represented employees. A job specification includes information about the typical duties found in a job title, factors (including degrees of autonomy, decision-making and responsibility) that influence the level at which a position is classified, and general qualifications for an employee assigned to a particular job classification.

Job Standards for non-represented employees are a description of the scope, key responsibilities, and knowledge and skill requirements of a specific job level within a job function and family.

Visit the Series Concepts and Specifications/Job Standards webpage.

Policy, Procedure & Bargaining Unit Resources
