What is Avanti?
Avanti is a collaborative initiative driving strategic HR transformation at UC Riverside. This effort brings together campus partners, Central HR, the Campus Support Center, ITS, and expert vendors to modernize and streamline how HR services are delivered. Through stakeholder engagement, thoughtful planning, and innovative technology, Avanti is setting the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
Guided by the ETHOS principles and inspired by the spirit of Avanti — meaning "forward" — this initiative will strategically transform HR services through a collaborative, phased implementation of common, centralized, and automated technology solutions. By enhancing security, compliance, and standardization, Avanti aims to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and better support HR staff — ultimately elevating the overall employee experience at UCR.
This series of efforts culminates in a shared call to action: to move forward together in redefining how Human Resources services are delivered across the UCR campus.
