The Avanti Project supports UC Riverside’s strategic goals by strengthening financial stability through streamlined HR operations and improved data accuracy, while also enhancing the campus experience with user-friendly tools, automated processes, and personalized support that empower the people who teach, research, work, and learn at UCR.

  Goal 1: Build financial stability, resiliency, and sustainability​

Avanti's Contribution:​

  • Streamline HR operations to reduce administrative costs and improve efficiency​
  • Improve data accuracy and reporting for better resource allocation and financial planning​
  • Reduce compliance risks that could lead to financial penalties and employment practice liability

  Goal 2: Invest in the success of the people who teach, do research, work, learn, and live at UCR​​ ​​

Avanti's Contribution:​​

  • Enhance the employee experience through improved access to HR services, information and service transparency​​ ​
  • Deliver user-friendly tools and data to remove existing barriers, simplify processes, and ensure compliance​​ ​
  • Automate HR processes to reduce redundancies and provide more personalized employee support, enabling our professionals to better serve the campus community with a human-centric approach​

Avanti Strengthens Accreditation Efforts​

Standard 1: Defining Institutional Mission and Acting with Integrity

  • AODocs strengthens data governance with version control and access controls, ensuring compliance and demonstrating UCR's commitment to ethical practices, governance and accountability. (CFR 1.3, 1.4, 1.5)​
  • HR Service Now's portal and knowledge base enhance transparency by providing easy access to policies and procedures, aligning with WASC's emphasis on effective communication and information sharing (CFR 1.7 & 1.8).

Standard 3: Assuring Resources & Organizational Structures

  • The integration of AODocs and HR Service Now streamlines HR processes and automates workflows, demonstrating UCR's commitment to efficient operations, resource management and workload considerations. This aligns with WASC standards focused on institutional effectiveness and efficient resource use. (CFR 3.2 & 3.6)​


 

Standard 4: Creating an Institution Committed to Quality Assurance & Improvement

  • The integrated system supports continuous improvement by providing data on HR processes, enabling data-driven decisions and demonstrating commitment to ongoing assessment, a core WASC principle. (CFR 4.1, 4.5, 4.8)
