Manager and Supervisor Wellness Toolkit
The Manager and Supervisor Wellness Toolkit is designed to provide managers and supervisors with the information and training they need to create and sustain a healthy workplace here at UCR. A healthy workplace allows the university to operate more effectively and enables faculty and staff to better serve students. Manager and supervisor leadership is the most important predictor of well-being of faculty, staff and other managers. Leadership has great influence on the extent to which any member of their team engages or does not engage with wellness opportunities on campus.
In addition to providing information through the toolkit, in-person training is available to mangers and supervisors. The in-person training gives an overview of wellness needs at UCR, discusses the importance of managers and supervisors in promoting wellness, and provides hands-on activities to empower leadership to create a healthy workplace. Additional online resources include a video, presentation and an activity worksheet.
