What Is The Okanagan Charter
The Okanagan Charter is an International Charter for Health Promoting University and Colleges, which calls on post-secondary schools to embed health into all aspects of campus culture and to lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally.
This charter provides a vision, purpose and responsibility for our work with UCR Healthy Campus .UCR will be one of the first 50 US campuses to adopt this charter and making a pledge to be a health-promoting campus for students, staff, faculty and our community at large.
