Offer Letters
COVID-19 Vaccination Job Posting Language
To further align with Academic Personnel (AP) and for consistency across the campus, it was agreed that HR will align with the language being used by AP.
Effective August 24, 2023, all offer letters should remove the current vaccine language and replace it with the following language:
“As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. Additionally for information on how to submit proof of vaccination, please visit the EHS Coronavirus website.”
All new hire packets must include the Pandemic Statement which is an acknowledgement that all new hires will comply with all of the University of California public health directives related to COVID-19.
The Pandemic is offered in two versions:
Pandemic Statement - Remote Work Eligible
Pandemic Statement - Remote Work Non-Eligible
