Confidentiality

Confidentiality is one of the most important aspects of the program. The counselor does not share information about you or your visits with anyone outside of FSAP without your consent, or as required by law. If you contact FSAP at the request of your supervisor, FSAP will (only with your written consent) let them know if you agreed to accept the help that was offered - no information concerning the nature of the problem will be released without your written consent.

What Will it Cost

There is no charge for you or your dependents for the first three meetings, per issue every six months. Many times a single phone call or meeting can provide the help needed. However, if it is determined that there is a need for further specialized assistance from other agencies, there may be a cost. These costs for additional assistance my be covered by group insurance. The FSAP staff person will assist you with these matters.
