Benefits Open Enrollment begins on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

Satisfied with your current benefits elections? Not making any changes? Then, no action is required and all existing benefits will roll over to the new plan year, January 1, 2022.

New this year

• ALEX – your new personal benefits coach – helps you find the plans that fit you best.
• Learn about the new pharmacy benefit manager for CORE, UC Care, UC Health Savings Plan, Navitus Rx. No member action required.
• UC’s vision plan pays more towards contact lens costs.
• New Benefits Open Enrollment deadline: Make your elections by Friday, November 19, 2021 at 5:00pm.

• The UCR 2022 Benefits Open Enrollment website will be available on October 28, 2021 for valuable information about this year’s benefit plans, and highlights important changes and information employees need to know about their benefit costs and options for the coming year.

Open Enrollment Events and Education

In keeping with the required regulations for social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Benefits Open Enrollment is virtual, including a virtual benefits fair, virtual help desk and an Open Enrollment website.

UCR Virtual Benefits Fair
Wednesday, November 3, 2021 | 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The UCR Virtual Benefits Fair features informational presentations, resources and links to exhibitions and plan updates from our various benefits vendors. Participating vendors will also host interactive webinar sessions where you may ask questions and participate in the live chat feature.
