Use these campus resources and services to help facilitate your professional balance!

Student Health Services

Student Health Services offers a variety of health and wellness services to UCR students, faculty, and staff. All visits are by appointment - you may reach them at: (951) 827-3031. Some of their services include:

  • Travel Clinic / Immunizations
  • Massage Therapy

Campus Safety Escort Service

  • If you are working late at night, contact the Campus Safety Escort Service at extension 3772 or use the red direct-line Escort Service telephones located in most campus buildings.
  • Services are offered from Sunday through Thursday, dusk to midnight.
  • This year, the Service will dispatch from the Rivera Library until midnight.
  • When the Service is not in operation, you may call the UCR Campus Police for at extension 5222.

Career Services

The mission of UCR's Career Services unit is "To provide UCR students and alumni with the information and resources necessary to set and achieve their career goals." These services are also available to UCR faculty and staff.

Child Development Center

The UCR Child Development Center provides childcare and developmental programs for the children (age four months through Kindergarten) for UCR students, faculty and staff.

Environmental Health & Safety

From the prevention of ergonomic based injuries to office safety, general hazard identification to abatement, Environmental Health & Safety provides services to assist all campus employees and visitors in achieving a vital and healthy environment both at work and at home.

Office of the Ombuds

The Office of the Ombuds can be your first resort, when you don't know where to begin. The Office of the Ombuds can be your last resort, when other channels have failed to bring a resolution to your issue(s). The Office of the Ombuds is a confidential, impartial, informal and independent resource that assists UCR community members, including students, faculty and staff, in addressing or resolving a dispute or ongoing conflict.

Staff Assembly

The purpose of Staff Assembly is to promote the interests and welfare of staff career employees.

Student Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center provides healthy lifestyle choices through a diverse array of activities. The Fitness Center offers free-weights, weight machines, exercise bikes, treadmills and stair climbers, racquetball/wallyball, basketball, volleyball, squash, and badminton. Classes offered include aerobics, martial arts and dance. A variety of outdoor excursions opportunities are also available.
