Kaiser Permanente (KP)
KP is doing everything they can to keep our members, staff and communities as safe as possible. If your doctor determines you do need a test, you won't have to pay for costs related to COVID-19 screening or testing. There are no changes to benefits. By temporarily consolidating these 6 smaller facilities, KP believes they can help to support a potential surge in the number of people who are in need of hospitalization, meet the critical need to conserve Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), guard against potential staffing shortages, and limit exposure to the virus for both members and employees.

Expanded access to care and support for COVID-19
UHC is expanding access to care, support and resources during this unprecedented time, including waiving cost sharing for COVID-19 testing and testing-related visits during this national emergency. Learn about COVID-19 resources.
24/7 Virtual Visits
UHC expanded access to telehealth to help members connect with health care providers from the comfort of their home. For COVID-19 testing related telehealth visits with a health care provider, cost sharing is waived through June 18, 2020. Learn about Virtual Doctor Visits and Virtual Behavioral Health Visits.
Telehealth/Virtual House Calls Visits
Nurse Practitioners will begin conducting Virtual House Call visit using technology in lieu of in-person visits beginning April 2020.
Optum Behavioral Health
Optum is currently offering to anyone in need its free Emotional Support Line anytime at 1-866-342-6892, staffed by professionally trained mental health experts.
