(Step-Based Salary Structure)

Status

Contract period July 2008 through June 30, 2013
Contract ratified on March 25, 2010

Range Adjustment

Effective October 1, 2010:
Implementation of a 2.5% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure. Employees who pay exceeds the salary range maximum before the rate increase was applied, are eligible for an increase only up to the new salary range maximum.

Effective October 1, 2011:
Implementation of a 3.0% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure. Employees who pay exceeds the salary range maximum before the rate increase was applied, are eligible for an increase only up to the new salary range maximum.

Effective October 1, 2012:
Implementation of a 3.0% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure. Employees who pay exceeds the salary range maximum before the rate increase was applied, are eligible for an increase only up to the new salary range maximum.

Merit

Effective January 1, 2011:
All non-probationary employees who are (1) within range; and (2) has received an overall performance rating of satisfactory or above are eligible for a merit increase of one step.

Effective January 1, 2012:
All non-probationary employees who are (1) within range; and (2) has received an overall performance rating of satisfactory or above are eligible for a merit increase of one step.

Effective January 1, 2013:
All non-probationary employees who are (1) within range; and (2) has received an overall performance rating of satisfactory or above are eligible for a merit increase of one step.

One-Time Payments

Effective July 1, 2010:
Settlement Bonus of $1,000 per employee, prorated based on appointment percentage (pre-START).  Recipients must be in the unit on the date of ratification (3/25/2010) and on the date of processing.  Non-base building; non-FLSA eligible; and non-UCRP eligible.
