(Open Range Transitioning to Step-Based Salary Structure)

Range Adjustment
|
Effective December 1, 2008: 4% range adjustment to the minimum and the maximum of the open range salary structure and base-building salary increase for employees across the board (up to range maximum and the remainder in a retirement eligible lump sum)
Effective January 1, 2009: 2.5% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure and salary increase for all employees
Effective July 1, 2009: 2.5% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure and salary increase for all employees
Effective January 1, 2010: 3.0% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure and salary increase for all employees
Effective January 1, 2011: 3.0% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure and salary increase for all employees; 1% to be added to range adjustment or market equities
Effective January 1, 2012: 3.0% range adjustment to the step-based salary structure and salary increase for all employees; 1% to be added to range adjustment or market equities
Eligibility: Employees must be in the PCT (EX) unit and on pay status on the payout date

Effective November 1, 2007:
- 4% Lump Sum payment based on actual hours worked from 11/01/2007 through 11/30/2008
Effective December 1, 2008:
- Transition to a step-based salary structure based on years of UC experience within a title
- Lump Sum payment for the difference between the new rate and the step placement rate from 09/01/2008 through 11/30/2008
Eligibility: All PCT (EX) employees are eligible if they are in the unit on the date of ratification and on the payout date.
Effective July 1, 2009: Step progression within range. One step increase for eligible employees. Movement will be on a year for year basis through the step structure

Effective July 1, 2011: Step progression within range. One step increase for eligible employees. Movement will be on a year for year basis through the step structure
