UCR Local Procedure #30 – Salary

- Salary offers for internal hires may be approved by the Dean, Vice Chancellor, or Unit Head if the cumulative salary increase is 25 percent or less and below the salary range midpoint, or if the salary increase is above the salary range midpoint but 15 percent or less.
- Salary increases upon upward/lateral reclassification may be approved by the Dean, Vice Chancellor, or Unit Head if the cumulative salary increase is 25 percent or less and below the salary range midpoint, or if the salary increase is above the salary range midpoint but 15 percent or less.
- Administrative stipends provided in excess of a 12 month period may be approved by the Dean, Vice Chancellor, or Unit Head. HR approval will no longer be required.
