2017-2018 Performance Management Resources

Adding Resources

In addition to the various performance management guides, Human Resources would like to provide you with additional resources designed to smoothly guide users through Version 2.0 of the performance management process. These resources are available for all users including staff employees, supervisors and organizational leaders, department's HR representative and/or HR Business Partners.

Helpful Hints

  • Mandatory Training - Due March 31, 2018
    Employees will need to confirm that they have completed both the Cybersecurity and Sexual Harassment Training. Completion of both training requirements will satisfy the Mandatory Training Certification located on page 5 of the performance appraisal form. Noncompliance with this training requirement will impact an employee’s merit award.

    • To confirm completion of the mandatory training requirement:
      1.    Visit the UC Learning Center (LMS)
      2.    Click on Required Trainings – a list of assigned training and status will be available for review
      3.    Complete any training that is still outstanding
  • In-Person Information Sessions
    Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) will hold one-hour Information Sessions regarding the 2017-2018 Performance Management process. To attend the following sessions, you are required to register through the UC Learning System (LMS) / select UCR Performance Management Program Version 2.0 - Revised for FY 2017-18:

    • Tuesday, March 20, 2018 | 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

    • Thursday, March 22, 2018 | 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

  • Self Assessment Completion Process
    Supervisors are reminded to provide their direct reports with the performance appraisal form on or about April 2. Direct reports should then complete the self-assessment section (directions are provided on the performance appraisal form and in training video 2) and return it to their supervisor on or about April 9. Note: Timelines established by individual organizations may vary.

    Four (4) new online training videos are now available through April 30, 2018 to provide help completing key parts of Version 2.0 of the Performance Management process. Each video is designed for both reviewers and recipients of this year’s performance appraisal form. To view the following videos, please visit the UCR Learning Center (LMS).
