The New Employee Benefits Orientation is designed to acquaint employees with the benefit package available to them as University employees. The Benefits Office staff will answer your questions and assist you with enrollments in the various plans.

How to Attend New Employee Benefits Orientation

New employees have two options for participating in a New Employees Benefits Orientation. You can either attend a half-day classroom session or participate in an online webinar. Please review the following information to make a decision about what format is best for you.

If you are unable to attend either of the New Employee Benefits Orientations before the end of your Period of Initial Eligibility (PIE), please review this New Employee Benefits Orientation presentation for important information on enrolling in your benefits.

 New Employee Benefits Orientation Webinars

Human Resources now offers new faculty and staff the option of participating in New Employee Benefits Orientations via live webinar. The live webinars are sponsored by UC Path and are designed to offer employees the flexibility to learn about UC health and welfare benefits and retirement plans on a mobile device or at their desk.

Employees who are eligible for benefits and have not attended a benefits orientation in the past have the option to register and participate in a live webinar.
