Employee Relations

Employee Relations

Employee Relations provides consultation and advice to managers, supervisors and non-represented employees in developing and implementing solutions to organizational needs.  Upon request, Employee Relations:

  • Identifies strategic approaches for effective supervision, performance management, problem solving and conflict management;
  • Conducts organizational assessments for the purpose of enhancing operational effectiveness, improving teamwork, and aligning structural and human relations components;
  • Interprets University personnel policies and procedures and applicable statutes and regulations;
  • Delivers regular and customized training on such topics as team building, performance management, navigating Staff Personnel Policies and contracts, FLSA and FMLA.
